Hello Spring, bye bye down jackets and cashmere knits! While catching the first warm rays of 2014, I finally had the chance to wear my new lace blouse from Zara. The romantic fabric and flowy fit kinda reminds me of the 70s, which is why I paired it with some simple skinny jeans and just a little bit of jewelry. And since it is too early and cold for open-toe wedges (which would have looked so great combined with top and pants), I chose my Valentino Rockstud pumps.

Yesterday I received a belated Valentine´s gift: this super cute and fine bracelet from Jennifer Meyer is now mine and will never be taken off again! It is so lightweight and thin that you actually don´t really feel it on your arm, and I love the shiny little hearts…. The perfect gift!

Today´s look combines three of my currrent go-to pieces: the wonderful and versatile lace blouse from german brand 7 Chic Avenue, my new Chanel ankle boots (which are very comfortable btw) and my favorite Clic bracelet in nude. To spice things up a bit and for a touch of color, I added a red nail polish and a beige handbag :-)

You all may know how much I love my SC Bag from Louis Vuitton - it is so versatile and I have shown it many times here on my blog. Not only is the color a wonderful dark red, but the bag is so roomy and holds so many things that it has become my go-to-bag for travelling, running errands or any other daytime use…

Today´s post is my version of “casual chic” for strolling through the city and window-shopping with afterward dinner. Being a big lover of the cold season, I am always happy when I have the chance to wear out my Prada overknee boots (they´re not meant for summer, are they?). And even though they are not exactly what you would call a “kitten heel”, they are still one of the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and a therefore make a great addition to almost any outfit.

I hope you had a wonderful New Year´s Eve and a great start into the new year! I spent the last hours of 2013 together with a huge group of friends, and we attended an event in my hometown. We danced to the nines, ate some very delicious dishes and had a lot of fun :-)

Today´s outfit is what has become my everyday winter uniform: some skinny jeans combined with a cozy cashmere sweater, ankle boots and my current favorite coat. At the moment, I like to wear my hair in a middle part and a sleek ponytail as I think this brings out my features and make-up best. I have been trying to grow my hair the past few months, but the constant styling does a lot of damage. Since I have to trim my hair every few months, I am not sure how long it´s going to take to have my long mane back… Well, we´ll see about that by the end of the year :-)

Today’s look was photographed during our short trip to London, and I am glad that I finally found the time to post it on my blog.

Since the weather was quite windy and rainy most of the time (there´s nothing new about that…), we spontaneously decided to take some pics in our beautiful hotel, the ME London. Unlike my usual street style posts, these images allow me to show you an evening outfit (which I usually don´t get to photograph during winter time). And since we bought a better flash, I am going to try to take more pics like this from time to time.

Time really flies, doesn´t it? I can´t believe that December is nearly over and we´re in the midst of winter, and I still haven´t shown you a single cold weater-outfit this season! Despite of the lower temperatures, I have somehow managed to get around wearing my usual uniform of UGG boots and down jackets. Somehow I want to dress more elegant and less casual… Could this be linked to the fact that I am growing older?

But whenever I get all dressed up for going to a bar or a nice restaurant, it is almost always too dark outside to take pictures. In addition, it is not easy to shoot an outfit in a dimly lit spot (since most evening loctions do not offer bright lighting)…

There it is, my lovely birthday gift! You will not believe how eager I was for this special, little beauty. It took me two years, many phone calls and boutique visits to find the perfect shade of pink in a mini sized Chanel flap. But, good things come to those who wait, and I am happy to present my new bag today! It is the biggest version of the mini flap bags and I would say that it is absolutely perfect for going out, taking a stroll or shopping. You can wear it crossbody (which is a huge plus in my opinion) an dloat it with an iPhone, some powder, lipstick, a mirror, a credit card case and even a small perfume bottle - honestly, what more could one wish for?
In addition, I got myself this cute little card case that fits perfectly into my Mini… :-)

Today I am wearing an outfit that is a great fit for autumn: I am combining the fur collar of an Alice & Oliva Cardigan with my ACNE leather jacket. At the moment I am in love with boots of all kinds , because besides keeping me warm they are a great way to wear high heels during the cold season.
