Now I know what was behind the mysterious wedding invitation that Dior sent me a few weeks back: The presentation of the new Miss Dior Spot. The beautiful Côte d’Azur serves as the setting of the clip, which sees Natalie Portman portray a young woman about to tie the knot.

Last week I attended an event of a very special kind: Together with a few other bloggers I had the opportunity to inspect and test some new products from the house of Fendi, Givenchy and Kenzo.
This fall, Dior suprises us with a collection that evolves all around the famous 5 Couleurs eye shadow palette:

Earlier this month, shoe designer Christian Louboutin released an assortment of nail polish, the first products in his beauty line. While it was assumed that he might introduce red lipstick as his first product, it is actually nail lacquer. Early in his career, the designer famously grabbed some red nail polish from his assistant and painted the sole of a shoe he was working on to make it more vibrant. Thus, a legendary product was born.
Today I would like to review one of the most intense, yet feminine perfumes I have tried. Fendi´s new fragrance, Fan di Fendi Extreme is a very sensual and intense version of its predecessor and designed for strong, mature women.
The packaging is very much Fendi: The golden logo against the glass is inspired by the famous Baguette bag, and the bottle´s closure design is based on the wonderful Peekaboo bag. I just love how the bottle feels heavy and nice in my hand, plus it makes for a nice design piece in my bathroom.
A few weeks ago I had the chance to attend Chanel´s Open Days press event in Hamburg. It was quite a little sensation for me as this had been the first time ever that Chanel invited bloggers, and for me to be one of these “chosen ones” was quite a little honor. Not only did Chanel do presentation of their new fall collection (that will be available from August 16th), but we also had the chance to test and try each and every product. And with a color range that big and wonderful, I must admit that it wasn´t easy to chose my favorite products: Intense berry tones are combined with deep blues, soft nudes and beiges, while powerful pinks meet very autumny violet shades:
This year, YSL presents a colorful and vibrating collection that was inspired by the beauty of nature, water and endless skies:

Paris, Champs Elysées 68. The Maison Guerlain is a grand architectural masterpiece located on one of the worlds most famous avenues. For more than 100 years, this has been the home to Guerlain and the boutique is still attracting an enormous amount of visitors every year. In 2013, the house has been renovated by star architect Peter Marino, who kept the many magnificent historic elements and combined them with the works of 20 contemporary artists to decorate the interior in a modern, timeless way. The result is a stunning combination of art, design and history.
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to participate in a tour of the renovated Maison Guerlain and today I want to share my impressions with you.
Two weeks ago I (once again) had the chance to spend a wonderful day in Paris, the city of my dreams, and with Dior, one of my favorite beauty brands. The french maison had invited me to get a sneak peek of and to try a new and very interesting product line that has just launched here in Europe. Well, when I say `interesting`, I really mean it, because for this summer, Dior surprises with an unprecedented, colorful special edition: Eyeliners, eye shadows and Mascara now play with bold and bright colors.
