Today I would like to review one of the most intense, yet feminine perfumes I have tried. Fendi´s new fragrance, Fan di Fendi Extreme is a very sensual and intense version of its predecessor and designed for strong, mature women.

The packaging is very much Fendi: The golden logo against the glass is inspired by the famous Baguette bag, and the bottle´s closure design is based on the wonderful Peekaboo bag. I just love how the bottle feels heavy and nice in my hand, plus it makes for a nice design piece in my bathroom.

Fendi Fan di Fendi Extreme opens with a citrusy freshness of lemon and bergamot. After a few minutes, the flowery middle notes, tuberose and jasmine, come through. I have to say that I really like the depth of the top notes, as citrusy scents often tend to feel way too light and generic which isn´t the case at all. The perfume dries down to a powdery vanilla scent combined with intense leather, something that I absoultely love!

Top Notes: Italian Lemon, Calabrian Bergamot

Heart notes: Arabian Jasmine, Indian Tuberose

Base Notes: Leather, Vanilla, Birch

Resumé:

This fragrance has very much become one of my go-to-perfumes for everyday. I would say that this is a solid scent that is suited for almost every woman - it´s powdery vanilla and intense flower notes are just something that you can’t go wrong with.

Buy through Harrods.
