Last week I attended an event of a very special kind: Together with a few other bloggers I had the opportunity to inspect and test some new products from the house of Fendi, Givenchy and Kenzo.
After a small reception in the beautiful scenery of the Malkasten in Dusseldorf we started with a small introduction to the Italian brand Fendi. The fashion house, which is known in particular for it’s fur creations and leather goods (did you know that there are more than 1,200 variations of the famous baguette bag?), has launched a new range of fragrances in Germany a few weeks ago. Besides Fan di Fendi Extreme (you can find a my report here) you can now also get the summer fresh fragrance Fan di Fendi Eau Fraiche and Fan di Fendi.

After a delicious lunch we then turned our attention to one of my personal favorites: Givenchy. Regular readers of my blog probably know that next to Dior and Guerlain I almost exclusively use decorative cosmetics from Givenchy. Maybe it’s because from season to season Givenchy knows to surprise us with rich colors and high-quality textures:
National make-up-artist Nevil Alem-Awat shows the new christmas look.

Givenchys “Christmas Look 2014″ is all about black. The (non) color shines in the upcoming makeup line in all its nuances and charms us with glamorous, expressive variants. What particularly struck me about the make-up was the eyeshadow palette with its nine intense shimmering shades of black, which are perfect for a fast Smokey Eye. Also the two new nail polishes have a fabulous texture and can be easily combined.
Of course, Givenchy has come up with a new fragrance creation for fall. Dahlia Divin, a warm, very feminine perfume that exhales soft flowers and elegant oak spice (full report coming in September). Godmother for this scent is actually none other than Alicia Keys, whose gentle aura is a perfect fit for Dahlia Divin.
Lastly we could delve into the history and world of Kenzo. With the scent Jeu d’Amour the unconventional fashion house succeeded with a wonderful creation that includes floral notes of tuberose and freesia that mix with fresh nuances such as mandarin and tea. I have already tested the scent and it is extremely pleasant and lovely.
