Today’s look was photographed during our short trip to London, and I am glad that I finally found the time to post it on my blog.

Since the weather was quite windy and rainy most of the time (there´s nothing new about that…), we spontaneously decided to take some pics in our beautiful hotel, the ME London. Unlike my usual street style posts, these images allow me to show you an evening outfit (which I usually don´t get to photograph during winter time). And since we bought a better flash, I am going to try to take more pics like this from time to time.

I discovered the leather skirt in these pics a few weeks ago during an event at Breuninger, but by that time it was a bit too expensive for me to justify the purchase. It must have been destiny when I found the skirt on sale (50% off) at Saks.com, and with its new price tag, I didn´t hesitate a second and immediately pulled the trigger. For today´s look, I combined it with an embellished blouse from Maje (also worn last year on New Year’s Eve) and a pair of slingback peep-toes by Valentino. As you can see, I am wearing the highly sought-after Dior “Tribal”-earrings that took me three days and daily visits to the boutiques to find (can you believe that there is an actual waitlist for these earrings?).
