If it wasn´t so much work, I would show you many more going-out-outfits on my blog. But whenever I get all dressed up for going to a bar or a nice restaurant, it is almost always too dark outside to take pictures. In addition, it is not easy to shoot an outfit in a dimly lit spot (since most evening loctions do not offer bright lighting)…

Trenchcoat: Burberry (also avaiable here)

Dress: Michael Kors (a similar version here)

Handbag: Chanel Classic

Shoes: Christian Louboutin (currently craving these Leo-Pumps)

Scarf: Massimo Dutti (identical one from Faliero Sarti here)

Hello Baby Pink Chanel!

There it is, my lovely birthday gift! You will not believe how eager I was for this special, little beauty. It took me two years, many phone calls and boutique visits to find the perfect shade of pink in a mini sized Chanel flap. But, good things come to those who wait, and I am happy to present my new bag today! It is the biggest version of the mini flap bags and I would say that it is absolutely perfect for going out, taking a stroll or shopping. You can wear it crossbody (which is a huge plus in my opinion) an dloat it with an iPhone, some powder, lipstick, a mirror, a credit card case and even a small perfume bottle - honestly, what more could one wish for?
In addition, I got myself this cute little card case that fits perfectly into my Mini… :-)

You can buy Chanel either at the official boutiques or online through Vestiare-Collective, Shopbop, My-Wardrobe or Ebay.

Today I am wearing an outfit that is a great fit for autumn: I am combining the fur collar of an Alice & Oliva Cardigan with my ACNE leather jacket. At the moment I am in love with boots of all kinds , because besides keeping me warm they are a great way to wear high heels during the cold season.

The hunt for the perfect leopard print scarf must have taken me ages (at least it feels like it). While looking for a nice, chic animal print shawl, I have stumbled upon what might have been hundreds of different prints and colours. Since Leopard print has been trending in fashion world for almost a decade, I have seen so many different forms of Leopard spots and varieties of multiple shades (think blue dots on a pink base…) - but I never could get my head around buying any of these.
When Shopbop had their annual Friends & Family-event last week…

Today´s outfit is some kind of premiere, as this is the first time ever I am showing you a look with callet flats! While going for a little stroll this past week, I went for a cozy and more casual look with my cable knit sweater from Massimo Dutti, some skinny jeans (J Brand is still my favorite denim brand!) and my khaki-colored Chloé “Gemma”-bag. The bag’s color is a perfect match for fall/winter and you will probably see my bag a lot more in the coming weeks.

Happy weekend, dolls!

Outfit-Post: Black, White & Hint Of Red

These days, one of my go-to colour combinations is black and white. While worn alone, both colours may look somewhat boring, but combined together, they give a very elegant and classy vibe (I am thinking Coco Chanel and her love to all things black & white). To add a pop of colour, I wore my beautiful red Chanel classic flap. How do you like my look?

I usually try to always add a pop of colour to any outfit, whether by wearing a bright coloured handbag, an intense red lipstick or delicate jewelry. But as you can see, today´s outfit is a tad bit odd for me, considering it is all black and even my accessories and make-up are very decent.
As you know I am a very big fan of fall fashion: It allows you to integrate pieces of your summer wardrobe while also adding a layer or two. September has been blessed with very nice temperatures and last week I had the chance to wear my beloved new leather skirt for what I believe will be the last time until next year. I combined it with a beautiful knitted lace top from 7 Chic Avenue which I have worn many times these past weeks; it is just so versatile and can be worn from day to night.

Today´s outfit is all about a pop of colour! A few weeks ago I finally had the chance to wear my new Haute Hippe silk blouse that I bought in New York, and I paired it with my favorite pair of Jeans from J Brand. I really like the longer length and casual cut of this blouse as it allows you to even combine it with a some distressed, ripped denim pants. To add a touch of chic, I opted for my Valentino Rockstud Pumps and a small Chanel classic flap.

Blouse: Haute Hippie

Jeans: J Brand (now on sale)

Shoes: Valentino (also here and here)

Handbag: Chanel Classic Flap

Nail Polish: Uslu Airlines (Colour BER)

One of the most seen trends in fashion world is definitely leather clothing. Ever since I bought a pair of skinny leather pants last year, I have been on the hunt for a sleek, chic pencil skirt. While browsing the usual online-stores for my weekly blog edition of “New In”, I stumbled upon this beautiful pencil skirt from DNA and immediately had to order it. Last weekend I wore it for the first time (combined with a sheer black chiffon shirt) and I really liked the way it flattered my figure.

Outfit: Black Jersey Dress

Well, it seems as if summer has decided to leave for good. As you can see on today´s pictures, the first autumn leaves are already here, indicating that nature is getting ready for a new season. I honestly can not believe how fast summer has gone by; long days, short nights, a lot of rain and some very hot temperatures are more or less over now. But as much as I love summer, I am very much looking forward to autumn; not only is my birthday in October, but I am also facing some very exciting new challenges these next months.

Anyway, today´s blog post shows me wearing one of my favorite dresses for summer - a casual, yet very form-fitting jersey dress from Monrow. Now, if this dress looks familiar, you are one loyal reader: It is the same dress I have shown you before in a previous outfit post. In order to make the dress look more summery, I added some details in my current favorite colour coral red :-)

Outfit: Yves Saint Laurent Tribute Sandals

Choosing today´s outfit was a bit of a challenge. While I think that the combination of black silk and blue denim is nothing out of the ordinary, finding a matching pair of shoes was not as easy as one would think. Since most of my shoe collection is either neutral or bright coloured, I do not have too many dark/black pumps or sandals. As you can see below, I tried both an embellished sling-back pump from Valentino and a pair of Yves Saint Laurent Tribute sandals. In the end, I went with the sandals as I found the Valentinos to be way too elegant and classy for such a casual denim look. What do you think? Did I pick the right pair of shoes to go with that outfit?

Outfit-Post: Emerald Green

Here we go - my first outfit post with Pantone´s colour of the year Emerald green! Even though I almost never wear bright clothing and mostly stick to neutral pieces, I always loved this rich green colour. It is both eyecatching and elegant at the same time (which cannot be said about too many colours), and I like the way it complements my dark hair and brown eyes.
I know you have seen a similar outfit just a few days ago, but I have worn this Gucci skirt a few times these past weeks as it is so combinable with the rest of my wardrobe. In addition, I finally have the chance to show you my new Clic-Clac bracelet from Hermès which looks very nice with this green silk blouse. Happy Thursday!

Last month I had dinner and drinks with some of my friends. Since we opted for a more posh location, I finally had the chance to wear my new Michael Kors dress. Even though I was pretty sure which bag to combine with my outfit, I had some trouble finding the right shoes: Nude and grey pumps looked way too matchy with my bag (and made the whole look kind of boring), and so I went with a coral coloured pair of Prada sandals.
