About two weeks ago I was invited to spend a weekend in Frankfurt, one of Germany´s most beautiful cities. The metropole is mostly known for its huge financial district and home to the famous European Central Bank. Considering the importance of the ECB, I would even go so far as to say that Frankfurt is one of the most prominent cities in Europe. Anyway, I had a lovely time there and would like to give a little overview through words and pictures.
For this particular trip I was given the chance to try the new Infiniti Q50 limousine. Not only is this one of the chicest cars I have ever driven, but it is by far the most calm and comfortable automobile I know. Since my mobile phone seems to always run low on battery, I highly appreciated the inbuilt USB ports and the power connector.
Design-wise, the Inifinti Q50 was built according to the Yin Yang Theory and features a very sleek interior whose forms and lines are reminders of natural structures such as waves.
After a little shopping spree at Chanel and Hermès, we met with some friends to go out for dinner. Being absolutely passionate about the asian cuisine, I was happy that we opted for Zenzakan, a wonderful restaurant in the heart of the city. I had some of the best Sushi and Dim Sums of my life there and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a chic location and nice atmosphere.
The hotel where we stayed, the Villa Kennedy, owns its memorable name to the road it is located on — named in honour of President John F Kennedy’s visit in 1963. It is a wonderful and well known five-star-house that offers both the comfort of a modern architecture and the tradition and knowledge of a famous institution.
