Since you have already seen my looks from Luisaviaroma´s Firenze4Ever event (which you can buy here among some of my other favorite items from the online store), I thought it would be nice to show you some pictures from the wonderful weekend we spent in Tuscany. And I can only repeat myself and say that we had a fabulous time in Firenze, all thanks to the lovely Luisaviaroma-team.
Using the theme “Le Corbusier travels to Versailles” Karl Lagerfeld presented his fall-winter 2014/15 collection last Tuesday. In his designs Lagerfeld plays with the materials like creating a full-fledged material out of cement. Thanks to Chanel for the exciting look behind the scenes:
After last week´s first Firenze4Ever Style Lab look, I think it´s time I show you the second outfit I styled for Luisaviaroma´s half-yearly event.
Oh what can I say… This dress is everything a girl could wish for! Soft silk, a flowy fabric paired with a figure flattering design make this robe one of the most fabulous and beautiful pieces of clothing I have ever seen!
For a more edgy and less conventional look, I combined this stunning dress with a black leather jacket/cape and the famous “crisp packet” clutch from Anya Hindmarch, whose design is inspired by a potato chips packet :-)

Paris, Champs Elysées 68. The Maison Guerlain is a grand architectural masterpiece located on one of the worlds most famous avenues. For more than 100 years, this has been the home to Guerlain and the boutique is still attracting an enormous amount of visitors every year. In 2013, the house has been renovated by star architect Peter Marino, who kept the many magnificent historic elements and combined them with the works of 20 contemporary artists to decorate the interior in a modern, timeless way. The result is a stunning combination of art, design and history.
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to participate in a tour of the renovated Maison Guerlain and today I want to share my impressions with you.

It´s been exactly a week since I have returned from Florence, and I am still indulging in all the beautiful memories I made during my trip to Italy. Luisa Via Roma, one of the biggest and most famous online-stores for luxury fashion, had invited me among a few other bloggers, editors and journalists to attend their half-yearly Firenze4Ever event. During three very well organised days, we had the exclusive chance to style one to three different looks, choosing from whatever Luisa Via Roma had to offer for the upcoming fall/winter collections. And since I almost never get the chance to wear such fabulous gowns, I opted for two glamourous looks of which I would like to show you the first one today.
It´s the year of the FIFA worldcup, and since this event´s motto was Brazil, I opted for a dress and bag by brazilian designers:

When I visited the Firenze4Ever event last week, LuisaViaRoma offered me to promote one of 36 footballs that were designed for charity. All proceeds will be donated to the Gol de Letra Foundation, whose mission is to improve living conditions for children in the Brazilian favelas through art, culture, education and sports. My choice was the creation of designer Shourouk, but there are many more beautiful football designs, including creations by Missoni, Balmain and Roberto Cavalli. Two weeks ago I (once again) had the chance to spend a wonderful day in Paris, the city of my dreams, and with Dior, one of my favorite beauty brands. The french maison had invited me to get a sneak peek of and to try a new and very interesting product line that has just launched here in Europe. Well, when I say `interesting`, I really mean it, because for this summer, Dior surprises with an unprecedented, colorful special edition: Eyeliners, eye shadows and Mascara now play with bold and bright colors.
No other brand is such an expert in creating the perfect summer makeup-look. In 1984 when the french maison first released its bronzing powder, nobody would have thought that this product would revolutionize the way women would do their makeup. In order to celebrate 30 succesful years of Terracotta, Guerlain has now released an Anniversary Terracotta Sun Celebration Blusher & Bronzer in addition to a few other fabulous products that I would like to review today.
I still can´t really believe it, but it seems as if summer is finally here to stay! Woohoo! The weather has been so nice and warm these past days, and a clear blue sky predicts even better temperatures for the next weeks.
Of course I immediately took the chance to wear out my new Rebecca Minkoff dress that I bought just last week. The lightweight silk fabric is perfect for hot summer days and nights, and I love the flowing and flattering cut.
At the beginning of May I went on a short trip to Barcelona where I discovered a fabulous new hotel. Of course I captured my stay in photos and I am happy to share them with you in this article…
