To me, 2014 is one of the most exciting years ever. I have seen, felt and experienced so many things that it seems as if time has somehow just flown by. At the beginning of 2014, I would have never imagined that today, a year later, I would be pregnant with my first child and being so close to my due date.

Nevertheless, I am more than thankful for everything that has happenend within the past months, and today, I would like to give you a little overview of some of my favorite moments:

My Favorite Outfits

Last year, I somehow fell in love with the colors nude, beige and taupe. My obsession with these hues has gotten so far that up until today, I really enjoy wearing total tone on tone looks.

But still, a pop of color never hurts, and adding some pink, red or turquoise details to my outfits has also been a something I have done on a daily basis.

The Most Clicked Articles

Of course, the most liked and read article of 2014 was the one where I finally announced my pregnany, and I want to thank each and every one of your for your lovely wishes and nice comments. In second place, there is another baby related blog entry (where I am revealing the baby´s gender), closely followed by an article on which I reflect on Chanel´s newest price increase. I have no explanation on why, but somehow this very plain look was the most clicked outfit post of all, followed by a more romatic ensemble.

Paris

I am lucky to say that I travelled seven wonderful and fabulous times to Paris, the city of love and lights: Twice, I was invited to attend events from Dior (full posts here and here) and once I had the chance to get a look behind the scenes at Maison Guerlain. Three times I went to Paris with my darling friend Elli (I have to admit that it was just for shopping), but the best trip of all was this past December with my beloved husband.

Travels

Last year was packed with work and we never really got the chance to take a nice, long vacation. Still, we managed to escape every now and then and visited Vienna, Amsterdam and Barcelona.

The Best Events

Two fabulous happenings were the Dior Addict event in March and Luisaviaromas 4EverBrazil-weekend last summer. I met so many wonderful people and had a fabulous time :-)

My Favorite Private Moment

Even though our little lady bug was totally planned, it took me quite some time to realize what was really happening with me, my life and my body. But after the first critical three months, I began to burst with joy and could not be any happier.

The Most Popular Instagram Pictures

The first „baby-bump“-pic was one of my most liked photos on Instagram, together with a fabulous shot of these hot beauties (5.400 likes!), followed by a picture of the Eiffel tower (2.100 likes) and yet another pair of Louboutin shoes.

My dearest purchases

Ever since I found out about my pregnancy at the end of May, I knew that at least for the current year, I would have to miss out on many new pieces of clothing. However, I still managed to snatch two new pairs of Valentino Rockstud pumps in nude and a very nice eggplant color.

And of course, my absolute favorite purchases of all are these two wonderful Hermès bags! It felt like a little dream come true to finally own these ultimate classic and iconis pieces, and I am sure that I will wear them for many years (and maybe one day hand them down to my daughter).

The Stokke Xplory is not really a fashion item, but it also counts as one of best things I have bought last year. It is so chic and stylish and I can´t wait to finally use it!
