To be frank with you I’m not a huge fan of the cold and therefore really tend to struggle with chilly November. Being in Madrid of course makes it more bearable, since weather here is not quite as harsh compared to Germany.

In any case though, dark foggy fall days are not my deepest pleasure. If you feel like me and are constantly looking for a way to lighten up the rainy days, be sure to include soft grey, muted white and pastel blue to your wardrobe. These neutral colours will definitely make a difference and lighten up your look and perhaps your spirits, if needed.

My outfit is completely dedicated to this mission and as usually fairly uncomplicated and yet kind of stylish. I’m wearing J Brand jeans and an IRO wool blazer, which, hands down, are my absolute favourite blazers/ jackets to wear. I am so, so in love with IRO; to me this brand amplifies Parisian cool.

Underneath that perfect blazer, I’m wearing an incredibly soft and snug Thom Krom long sleeve. Thom Krom is a Hannover, Germany based fashion brand which sells very well made and reasonably priced pieces with individual cuts and quality materials. For some it might be too edgy, however I mostly love the style and was very happy when they finally started making female attire.

My shoes and bag complete the look with similar shades of pastel blue. I just adore the wide shoulder strap of the Kelly. It was limited edition and to me it adds a more sportive, youthful note to this very classic bag.
