The most beautiful and wonderful place in New York is Central Park. It is almost unbelievable that a city as big, loud and hectic as NY would offer such a calm and peaceful oasis. A mixture of rustling of leaves, splashing of water, song and speech makes this park so special that one could almost forget he´s in New York.

Wherever you look, you can see people joining each other for any kind of sports: Baseball, running, Yoga, Pilates or circuit training. Families with small children visit the zoo or the amusement park, young couples relax on one of the many meadows and enjoy the sun, and creative minds can express themselves in of the art classes.

Whenever I am in new York, I try to visit the park at least twice. It has become a little tradition for us to rent a boat, enjoy the lake and wallow in memories of our wonderful wedding day….

We really did laugh and the dollar was well spent :-)
