Most of you may remember that I was invited by Dior to spend two wonderful days in Paris, the city of love, fashion and beauty. During a fabulous event, Dior launched two of their new “it-products”, the Dior Addict Fluid Stick and a revised line of their famous Le Vernis nail polishes. In today´s post, I would like to give you a more detailled insight about the Addict Fluid Stick, a beauty item which I have learned to love:

Let´s talk about the wonderful design first; isn´t the packaging extremly thought-through and nice to look at? Creating the illusion of a lipstick, you only find out on second glance that this is not a firm lipstick, but a creamy and smooth lipgloss/liplacquer.

The Dior Addict Fluid Stick is one of the most exciting Dior launches in the past few years. This wonderful new lip make-up can´t really be classified as gloss, lipstick or lacquer; it is more of a combination of these three with the additional smoothing effect of a balm. The qualities of the Dior Addict Fluid Stick are intense color, sparkling brilliance and absolute naturalness, which ensures long-term lip brightness and comfort.

Resumé: I have tried the Addict Fluid Stick many times within these past weeks, and I have been more than satisfied with the overall quality. One or two layers are usually enough for full coverge and maximum shine. In regards to the longevity, I would say that even after a meal your lips are still left with a decent stain of color, but you would need to freshen your lip make-up a bit up. The scent is very nice and subtle, and what I love most is the moisturing effect that leaves my lips soft and smooth.
This is a great product for anybody who is looking for shine, intense color and long wear, and I would definitely recommend it.
